U8 Football Update

February 23rd, 2010 | Football

Congratulations to the U8 teams, Errigal, Slemish and Sperrin, for their great performances against excellent Lavey U8 teams on Saturday. The hard work that has gone into training by the entire U8 squad to improve “passing and movement” skills was evident for all to see in these competitive matches. Thanks also to parents for their much needed support, encouragement and transportation!

The Rossa U8 coaches would like to extend particular thanks to Lavey for their hospitality, organisation and commitment to making this a “fun” event for all U8 players. The new Lavey facility and indoor 3G playing surface is second to none.

Meadowbank Arena is not available this Sunday (28th February) for regular trainings. Parents are asked to respond to Teamer texts as updates become available. In the meantime, all U8 players are asked to concentrate on their daily “skills challenge”. This week’s challenge is “jump and high catch”.
