Congratulations to Aimee McGuckin who has reached the All-Ireland U16 Camogie Final with Derry, after their win over Waterford on Saturday.
Seniors: Magherafelt 2-9 Foreglen 0-0
After their convincing win over Drumsurn last week, the senior camogs had another impressive win in Foreglen on Wednesday night. The Rossas were quick off the mark with an early point from Sinead McLaughlin. This was followed by some lovely scores from Nicola Crilly, Martine Crilly and Niamh McGuckin, Niamh’s taken from a very tight angle. Martine scroed the first goal of the game just before half time. Magherafelt’s midfield pairing of Jenny Lee and Dervla McGuckin continued to dominate in the second half, with Kathy McGuckin putting over 2 great points in quick succession. Nicola’s goal sealed the victory for Magherafelt.
