Club Notes Week Beginning 30th May

Results
A quiet week this week in the football and camogie competitions, due mainly to school / college exams. The key results to note were as follows.
Senior Football – Ballinderry 2-15 Magherafelt 0-09
Reserve Football – The Reserves recent winning streak came to an end following a defeat against Ballinderry.
Minor Football – The Minors secured a narrow victory away to Newbridge on Friday night past.
U14 Football – The Rossas were comprehensively beaten by Faughanvale
U12 Football – Ballinascreen hosted a Go Games blitz on Saturday past. Another good performance from all the young Rossas. Well done.
This week the Seniors and Reserves are away to Bellaghy on Sunday, with the Rossa thirds away to Ardmore.
The U14’S have a home league match against Swatragh on Tuesday.
The U10’s and U8’s are hosting a Go Games blitz on Friday night at Rossa Park, commencing 7pm.
The Senior camogs have a league match at home this Thursday at 7pm against Newbridge, while the Under 14’ camogs have two league matches this week. They have two home fixtures against Limavady on Monday at 7pm and at 12 noon on Saturday against Coleraine.
4K Fun Run / Walk
There will be a fun run / walk on Wednesday 1st June in aid of Club Funds. The un/walk will commence from the Lough Fea Car Park at 7.30pm sharp and is only 3.5miles in total. Entry fees are as follows: Kids – £3, Adults – £5. Registration from 7pm. So blow the cobwebs off your auld running/walking gear and please help support your club. There is no need to register before the event – just turn up and enter on the night.
Coffee Morning & Cake Sale – Thanks to all who attended and supported the coffee and cake sale in Rossa Park and the Parish Centre on Saturday past. Thank you to all of those who did the baking and for all the visitors who did the buying.
Sponsored Cycle Ride
Final preparations are now underway for the sponsored cycle ride on 11th and 12th June. 36 brave souls will be taking part in the two day ride from Croke Park to Rossa Park. Sponsor sheets have been issued to all teams. Your support is greatly appreciated.
Annual Fun Day
The Annual Fun Day will take place on Sunday 12th June at Rossa Park. The highlight of the day will be the return of the those taking part in the Sponsored Cycle Ride from Croke Park. Details of activities / events of the Fun Day will be announced later this week. Please see club website and local press for full details.
